Matthew Mott has been sacked as England's white-ball coach halfway through his four-year contract - but Jos Buttler has survived as captain following a review by managing director Rob Key triggered by two mediocre World Cup defences. Mott's job will be filled on an interim basis by the former England opener Marcus Trescothick, until now an assistant coach, who will oversee the T20 and ODI series against Australia in September.
