A grandmother was killed when a suicidal man who jumped from a freeway overpass went through her windscreen and hit her. Margarita Novela Galindo was in the passenger seat as her husband Florencio drove them along the 210 Freeway in Sylmar, Los Angeles, on August 9. Bystanders called police at 7.17pm saying he was threatening to jump from the Roxford overpass, and he went over the edge before they could arrive.
