What to Know About the harris project's Mission and Co-Occurring Disorders
Launched in 2013, the harris project is the first and only nonprofit dedicated to the prevention and treatment of co-occurring disorders (COD)the combination of mental health challenges and substance misuse. Through youth education, family support and community engagement, we help individuals and their loved ones recognize the signs of COD and promote integrated care that treats both conditions together. We work with local, state, and federal partners to drive transformation in the current healthcare system, and champion access to integrated treatment and support for people experiencing COD nationwide.
