'Reacher' Star Alan Ritchson Allegedly Caught on Camera in Fight With Neighbor

Authorities are allegedly investigating an incident involvingReacherstarAlan Ritchsonand a neighbor of his in Tennessee following a physical altercation between the pair.

TV Insider Alan Ritchson

On Sunday (March 22),TMZ released footagerecorded from the window of another neighbor, which seemingly shows Ritchson hitting a man and knocking him to the ground. Two children, who are allegedly the actor's kids, appear nearby on motorbikes.

The neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, spoke to TMZ, claiming that the confrontation started on Saturday (March 21) when Ritchson drove his dirt bike at "excessive speed" through the neighborhood. After Ritchson revved his bike, Taylor said he flipped the actor the bird, and Ritchson returned the gesture.

Taylor claimed that Ritchson returned to the area on Sunday around midday, this time riding on a motorbike with his two kids on their own motorbikes. He said he told Ritchson, "Can you f****** stop this, please," which is when the situation escalated.

He alleged that theTitansstar punched him in the face and kicked him to the ground while repeatedly hitting his head. Ritchson then reportedly fell off his bike, got back up, and tried to run Taylor off.

Taylor reported the incident to the police, saying the alleged assault left him with swelling and bruises. He said he did not go to the hospital.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that an investigation into the incident is ongoing. No arrests have been made.

Social media users reacted to the video, with some calling for Ritchson to be charged, while others wanted more context before making a judgment.

"I hope he gets the law thrown at him..," wrote one X user.

"We need the full story, because this moment looks like it was pulled straight out of the show. What actually pushed him to do that?" said another.

"Being a public figure doesn't excuse this. If the allegations are accurate, that's unacceptable behaviour especially over something so minor and in front of kids," another added.

Another wrote, "We need context to what actually happened here before passing judgement."

"Well, I guess it's payday for the neigbor. This is a clear case of assault, hitting a man repeatedly while he is already on the ground and posing no threat. I hope the neighbor presses charges," said one user.

"Let's hear both sides of the story," wrote another.

Ritchson has played the title character Jack Reacher on Prime Video'sReachersince 2022. His previous credits includeBlue Mountain State,Smallville,Blood Drive, andLegends of Tomorrow.

2 pilots dead after Air Canada plane collides with truck at LaGuardia airport

2 pilots dead after Air Canada plane collides with truck at LaGuardia airport

Two pilots were killed and dozens were injured on Sunday night after an arriving planecollidedwith a fire truck on a runway at New York's LaGuardia Airport.

NBC Universal

The incident involved Air Canada Flight 8646, which had just landed with 72 passengers and 4 crew members, and a Port Authority fire-rescue vehicle responding to a separate issue on another flight. Air traffic control audio recordings appeared to show a controller had cleared the vehicle to cross the runway before telling it to stop.

"I messed up," one air traffic controller is heard saying on the recording.

Follow live updates here.

Transport Secretary Sean Duffysaid Monday he is headedto the New York airport and that the Federal Aviation Administration, National Transportation Safety Board and the Port Authority are investigating.

Duffy told NBC News that the FAA is looking into whether ATC staffing was an issue in the incident.

Of those aboard, 41 people were treated for injuries at local hospitals, some of them seriously, Port Authority Executive Director Kathryn Garcia told a news conference early Monday. So far, 32 have been released from hospitals.

Two of the injured, a sergeant and an officer, have broken limbs and are in stable condition, according to preliminary information two sources with knowledge of the investigation told NBC News. Garcia said the two officers had non-life-threatening injuries.

Sources said the plane, a Jazz Aviation flight operating on behalf of Air Canada, was at the end of landing and going about 30 mph when the collision occurred at around 11:40 p.m.

Garcia said the truck was responding to an unrelated odor report on a United flight.

In the air traffic controller audio recording, the controller said the flight attendants on the United flight were feeling ill due to the odor. In another recording, a controller is heard requesting permission to cross the runway.

Moments later, a controller repeatedly tells "Truck 1" to stop.

A video postedon social media shows a passenger jet on the runway with its cockpit high and the underside of its forward fuselage mangled.

The collision at LaGuardia's Runway 4 is the latest to hit a beleaguered aviation industry. The New York City airport will remain closed until at least 2 p.m. Monday.

"Heartbreaking news out of LaGuardia this morning," New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said in a Monday post onX, confirming the number of deaths and injuries."Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected."

Transport disruption in the region also worsened on Monday after a brief ground stop was issued at Newark International Airport in New Jersey following an FAA tower evacuation due to smoke in an elevator.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the plane was a Bombardier CRJ-900 twin-jet aircraft flown by Air Canada Express, also known as Jazz Aviation, from Montreal.

NTSB sent a "go team" to the collision scene and will later send an investigative team.

Families were directed to Air Canada to find other family members who may have separated as the aircraft was evacuated — an unaccompanied minor was reunited with their family, Garcia said.

The NYPD told people to avoid the area around LaGuardia and to expect local disruptions, as all streets and airport exits are also closed.

First Israeli civilian killed in Lebanon border war was hit by Israeli fire

First Israeli civilian killed in Lebanon border war was hit by Israeli fire

JERUSALEM, March 23 (Reuters) - Israel said on Monday its own forces had misfired artillery that killed an Israeli farmer near the ‌Lebanese frontier, the first Israeli civilian killed in a border ‌conflict being waged in parallel with the war in Iran.

Reuters

Ofer Moskovitz, 60, an avocado farmer in the town of Misgav Am, had spoken with Reuters just last week and said he was worried about the fighting at the border.

In a statement, Major General Rafi Milo, who heads the military's northern command, ‌said: "Moskovitz was killed by our own forces' fire during an operation whose entire purpose was to protect them."

The military had initially blamed cross-border fire from Lebanon when it first reported the incident on Sunday.

Israel has launched a major ground assault and air campaign into Lebanon to root out Hezbollah, a powerful Iran-backed militia, which fired into Israel in support of Tehran ‌two days after the start of the Israeli-U.S. air attacks on Iran.

Lebanese authorities say more than a thousand people have been killed and more than a million driven from their homes in Lebanon. The death of Moskovitz was the first reported in Israel. The military says two ‌Israeli soldiers have been killed in combat.

"Every five minutes you can hear the bombs," Moskovitz told Reuters last week.

The military's statement said troops had opened fire to support ‌soldiers operating in southern Lebanon, but "severe issues and operational errors" had taken place.

"The artillery fire was carried out at an incorrect angle and did not follow required protocols," it said. "As a result, five artillery shells ‌were fired at the Misgav Am ridge instead of toward the enemy target."

The arrest was in relation to an April 2024 incident. Taylor was subsequently released the same day on a $10,000 surety bond.

Representatives for the Brazos County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment on what led to the re-arrest.

The reality star, who once competed for season 12 BacheloretteJoJo Fletcher's heart, was previously arrested on the same charges in 2024.
