Bradley Cooper and his Maestro costar Carey Mulligan's first meeting was fairly "dramatic," to say the least.

"Carey was in a one-woman show, and I went backstage to satisfy her and realized one thing was not right and I insisted on taking her to the emergency room," Cooper, 49, defined on a Friday, January 26, episode of The Graham Norton Present.

Mulligan, 38, chimed in and famous that in her efficiency, "a little bit of set" hit her within the head.

"I carried on but when it was over, I began crying and thought I used to be a goner," she shared. "I was sobbing on the floor when Bradley turned up and, realizing I wasn't OK, he took me to the hospital. You'll be able to think about how delighted the nurse was!"

Mulligan's stage mishap can also be not the one medical incident Cooper has witnessed because the duo turned associates and colleagues. Cooper and Mulligan starred reverse each other because the American composer Leonard Bernstein and his wife, Felicia Montealegre, within the critically acclaimed movie Maestro, which Cooper additionally directed and cowrote with Josh Singer. The 2023 film was nominated for seven Oscars, together with Greatest Picture, Greatest Actor and Greatest Actress.

Following the success of Maestro, Cooper couldn't help however gush about his costar Mulligan.
