A CROSSBOW stalker was shot lifeless by police after displaying "threatening behaviour" outdoors a house he was banned from, an inquest heard.
Bryce Hodgson, 30, was gunned down as he pressured his approach into the home in Rotherhithe, South East London, on January 30.
An inquest into his demise heard how he was armed with a crossbow and "different weapons" – together with a knife, sword and hatchet.
Senior Coroner Dr Julian Morris stated: "He had entered Bywater Place armed with numerous weapons, including a crossbow.
"Police have been referred to as to the scene and, when he exhibited some threatening behaviour, armed response models have been referred to as and subsequently photographs have been fired.
"He was pronounced lifeless at the scene."
A provisional publish mortem revealed Hodgson died from gunshot wounds to his neck and chest.
The inquest was adjourned whereas the Unbiased Workplace of Police Conduct (IOPC) carries out an investigation.
