A RANSOMWARE group has claimed to have stolen virtually 200GB of knowledge from Fortnite creator Epic Games.

Fortnite gamers with cost particulars saved could possibly be in danger[/caption]In response to a report by Cyber Daily, the group often known as The Mogelivich gang, is relatively new to the ransomware scene.
The group claims to have stolen "e-mail, passwords, full identify, cost info, supply code and lots of different knowledge".
In a single day the group claims to have carried out an attack on the Epic Video games servers.
In contrast to different ransomware assaults that have taken place in the business, Mogelivich has not offered proof that the hack has taken place.
Epic Video games has responded to the notice stating: "We are investigating but there's presently zero evidence that these claims are respectable.
"Mogilievich has not contacted Epic or offered any proof of the veracity of these allegations.
"Once we noticed these allegations, which have been a screenshot of a darkweb webpage in a Tweet from a third get together, we began investigating within minutes and reached out to Mogilevich for proof.
"Mogilevich has not responded. The closest factor we've got seen to a response is this Tweet, the place they allegedly ask for $15okay and "proof of funds" handy over the purported knowledge."
Mogelivich is offering to sell the info, though it doesn't state a worth and says they're prepared to sell to anybody who puts up the money.

This hyperlink goes to the group's contact web page, which is linked to a secure e mail.
Mogelivich claims that consumers only have until Monday, March 4, 2024, to make their presents before it is rescinded.
If their claims are true, then players of Fortnite, and people who use the Epic Video games Retailer could possibly be at risk.
The group claims to have personal and financial info which would probably embrace that of users.
