Police are investigating after a Tory councillor is claimed to have pushed a pro-Palestine protester out the door of a meeting, declaring 'this is Chorley, not Gaza'.
Labour mayor Tommy Gray misplaced management of a debate on Chorley Council's finances after inviting activist Jenny Hurley to ask a query through the assembly on Tuesday, February 27.
But the meeting spiralled into chaos when Hurley as an alternative launched right into a speech about Israel's ongoing conflict towards Hamas in Gaza.
