Major disruption is predicted just outdoors of London this morning, after all the eastbound portion of the M26 was closed following a fatal van crash.
A white VW Caddy hit a blue BMW 1 Collection and left the street at round 11.02pm yesterday, with emergency providers arriving on the location of the incident close to Sevenoaks around two hours later.
Kent Police confirmed the van driver, a person in his thirties, died at the scene while the BMW driver suffered minor accidents.
The drive is now interesting for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the automobiles beforehand to get in touch.
As the investigation continues, the street has been closed between the M25 junction 5, for the A21 near Sevenoaks, and the M26 junction 2A, close to Wrotham Heath – primarily the whole length of the brief motorway.
It's presently unclear when the carriageway is more likely to reopen, as visitors builds on the internal carriageway of the M25 between junction 6 and junction 5.
Nationwide Highways has put in place a diversion that avoids the M26 solely on the carriageway main from London to Kent.

The suggested diversion, which isn't symbol-led, follows this route:
- At J5 of the M25 proceed on the anti-clockwise for about seven miles to J3.
- Exit the M25 anti-clockwise at J3 and at the roundabout take the fourth exit onto the M20 eastbound, in the direction of Dover.
- Stay on the M20 eastbound for about six miles to J2.
- Exit at J2 and use the A20 to succeed in M26 J2A, close to Wrotham Heath, or proceed eastbound to succeed in M20 J3, the place the M26 meets the M20.
National Highways stated: 'Street customers are requested to plan ahead and contemplate permitting additional journey time if travelling within the area this morning.'
