A WOMAN has allegedly been raped at a beauty spot in broad daylight as three 15-year-old boys have been arrested.
Cops have been informed the sufferer was attacked near Tynemouth Priory in North Tyneside shortly after three.50pm on February 25.
Northumbria Police say specialist officers are supporting the female.
A spokesperson for the pressure stated: "An investigation was instantly launched by police, and the female sufferer continues to be supported by specialist officers.
"Officers have arrested three males – all aged 15 – on suspicion of rape.
"They've since been launched on police bail pending further enquiries."
Tynemouth Citadel and Priory was as soon as one of the largest fortified areas in England and is now managed by English Heritage.
The ruins overlook the North Sea and the River Tyne.
Police have requested for anyone with info to get in contact.
