Now, they're demanding a tourist tax, much less flights to the island and a clampdown on foreigners shopping for homes.

They declare that AirBnBs and other vacation leases are driving up the price of dwelling and that they are sick of the noise, visitors and garbage that accompany the avalanche of vacationers that go to every year.
