'RHOBH' Alum Annemarie Wiley Addresses 'Damaging' Transphobia Allegations | TB4798M | 2024-04-06 23:08:01
Annemarie Wiley addressed husband Marcellus Wiley's alleged transphobic feedback and her controversial political views after her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
"I'm so comfortable to deal with that," Annemarie, 40, stated on the Tuesday, April 2, episode of the "Reality With the King" podcast. "Calling somebody transphobic could be very hurtful, disgusting, and damaging. I help the trans group, trans rights and ladies's sports. No one is transphobic."
Annemarie went on to address Marcellus' controversial stance relating to transgender female athletes competing in sports alongside cisgender feminine athletes, adding, "My husband's stance on it's that he is not in help of it, and he's in help of there being protected areas for everybody, and I agree with that."
In February 2023, Marcellus, 49, took to Instagram to state that he had "no problem with transgenders" however had "a problem with athletes who're transgender ladies making an attempt to compete towards biological ladies."

Annemarie alleged that she was "badgered" and "attacked" over the comments regardless that she suspected that "around 90 %" of the forged held comparable views.
During Tuesday's episode, Annemarie also denied rumors that she's associates with political commentator Candace Owens. Annemarie's clarification comes after she recently announced she won't be returning to RHOBH.
"To say that I'm disillusioned is an understatement. I by no means auditioned for this present," Annemarie shared in an Instagram assertion March 21. "The present found me and asked me to be on it out of the blue 6 weeks after the forged had already began filming. I was thrown into filming 2 weeks later, mid season."

Annemarie stated she was "disappointed" by her final edit, including, "Followers never received to see the actual me or even a glimpse of my distinctive life story … What I am is a lady, a proud Black lady, who is actually blessed with an exquisite robust Black man as my husband who lifts me and our four fantastic youngsters up with a lot love and positivity on a every day."
She continued: "To the actual followers that saw previous what was portrayed and saw the REAL me, thanks so much for the love and help. I want all the women good luck on the subsequent season and thank you Bravo for the opportunity. As an athlete, challenges only make you stronger and extra determined to prosper! I'm excited for the new opportunities ahead that remember positivity, fact, authenticity, and the values I actually align with."
Annemarie has been married to Marcellus since 2014 they usually share three youngsters, Marcellus Jr., Aliya Jane and Alivia Marie. Marcellus can also be the daddy of daughter Morocca Alise from a past relationship.
