Bellamy Young, 53, reveals her skincare 'miracle worker' – it'll 'make you feel like you can be seen in the morning' | P1Y990D | 2024-05-03 20:08:01
ACTRESS Bellamy Young is certainly living up to her name, looking as youthful as ever at 53.
And she's shared her age-defying skincare secrets with The U.S. Sun, including a product she insists is a "miracle worker" and some tips that are totally free.
She might best be known for her role in the TV show Scandal, but Bellamy keeps her skin from showing any signs of stress.
Her method will also help you fake a full night of beauty sleep.
"My go-to that will wake you up in the morning and make you feel like you can be seen is that Kiehl's radiance oil," Bellamy told The U.S. Sun.
"It's a miracle worker."
Bellamy might have held all the power in her role as President Mellie Grant on the hit ABC show, but her biggest power move of all is achieving wrinkle-free and radiant skin.
Her favorite skincare buy boasts the ability to revitalize the skin by helping to correct the visible signs of fatigue.
It is also described as defending skin from free radicals with antioxidant protection for an extra radiant glow.
Made with botanical oils, the $60 Kiehl's daily reviving concentrate oil infused with ginger root, sunflower oil, and tamanu oil, will keep skin looking and feeling fresh and healthy all day long.
The ginger root is steam distilled to help preserve its efficacy and is responsible for giving skin the antioxidant protection it needs to say fresh.
With smoothing and hydrating properties, sunflower botanical oil serves to strengthen the skin barrier.
Sourced from French Polynesia, Tamanu botanical oil is cold-pressed from Tamanu seed to soothe and replenish skin.

The skin product must be doing something right as Bellamy was recently photographed looking glam in a red gown on the red carpet — and on the runway — at the American Heart Association's Red Dress Collection Concert.
The oil is also extra lightweight, allowing it to absorb quickly and be layered well with other products, including makeup — perfect for Bellamy's on-set looks.
In order to get the Wrinkle in Time actress' star appearance, it is advised to lightly pat several drops of the oil all over the face in an upward circular motion.
For even more age-reversing results, the brand advises incorporating their $30 nighttime midnight recovery concentrate moisturizing face oil serum to visibly replenish and restore skin by the morning.

The extra skin-saving oil features a naturally-derived formula to rejuvenate skin while you sleep.
And speaking of sleep, Bellamy is a big believer in getting her beauty sleep, regardless of her busy schedule.
"My number one skincare tip is sleep — sleep any time you can," she said.
"Drink some water, make sure you eat well, but get your sleep."
The nighttime Kiehl's find is formulated with lavender essential oil and evening primrose oil.
This oil claims to correct 30 days of poor sleep after just one night of use while helping to smooth and firm the skin's appearance as you say goodbye to dark spots, wrinkles, and fine lines.
The overnight formula is infused with a combination of lipid-rich seed, antioxidant-rich flower oils, and plant botanicals to treat dull-looking skin and dryness.
All it takes to save your skin is two to three drops of the oil which can be gently massaged into the skin.
The rest of their recovery collection including the $38 makeup-removing oil cleanser and $62 omega-rich night cream for plump and supple skin.
