Body found in search for man who vanished from Edinburgh | N62LX8X | 2024-05-07 06:08:01
A BODY has been found in the search for a man who vanished from Edinburgh.
Robert Dickson was last seen in the Halmyre Street area around 12.30pm on Saturday.
Cops confirmed the body of a man was discovered in a wooded area near Forth in Lanarkshire at around 4:30pm yesterday.
Formal identification is still to take place but Robert's family has been informed.
There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Robert was described as being around 5ft 6in tall, of slim to medium build with short, light brown hair.
When last seen he was wearing a grey tracksuit top, dark trousers and brown boots.
