Vasiliy Lomachenko insists he is open to fighting Gervonta 'Tank' Davis after beating George Kambosos Jr to win the IBF lightweight title.

Lomachenko bounced back from last year's defeat to Devin Haney in impressive fashion as he stopped Kambosos Jr in the 11th round to become a four-time world champion across three different weight classes.

The 36-year-old delivered a dominant display in Perth and sealed the win with a body punch which dropped Kambosos Jr, who was able to get to his feet before the towel was thrown in moments later after another flurry of body shots.

Davis, meanwhile, is due to fight Frank Martin for the WBA lightweight title on June 15 and Tank made it clear that he wants Lomachenko after that contest.

During Lomachenko's fight, Davis replied to a fan on X who suggested he 'would never' fight the Ukrainian with: 'He's after Frank, let me get Frank first.'

When asked about the callout from Davis after beating Kambosos Jr, Lomachenko told ESPN: 'You know, during my boxing career I never run around, I've always taken fights.

'Right now I want to come back to my home, spend time with my family. After that I rest a little bit, we can talk about the future.'

Meanwhile, Kambosos Jr hailed Lomachenko as one of boxing's greats after suffering the third defeat of his professional career.

'This guy is one of the best of all time,' Kambosos Jr said.

'We tried our best, but he's a good champion. He deserves that belt. I gave it my all.

'I'm still alive, I'm still standing. I ain't dead.'
