William Saliba believes Arsenal have both the best attack and best defence in the Premier League, as they continue their battle with Manchester City for this season's title.

The Gunners are top of the table but are still second favourites to lift the trophy as the champions are just one point behind them with a game in hand.

Mikel Arteta's side have played one more match than Pep Guardiola's, but they have scored more goals (88) than any other team in the division and conceded fewer (28) than any of their rivals.

The French centre-back has labelled his team 'unbelievable' and reckons their defence and attack are unmatched in the top flight.

'I have good teammates who cover me to keep clean sheets, and we're an unbelievable team who can attack,' Saliba told Arsenal's official website.

'We can defend, we can suffer. I think we are the best attack and the best defence.'

Arsenal have just two Premier League games to play, starting at Manchester United on Sunday and despite Saliba having immense confidence in his team, he knows it will be a difficult test.

'We know it won't be easy to win against them, so we have to be focused because they will be good against us,' he said.

'Last time we played them it was a tough game because they opened the scoring in the first half and, after we came back, in the second half it was 50/50.'

Arsenal's Premier League title fate is not in their own hands, hoping that Manchester City will drop points in their remaining three games.

Arteta is thinking positively, though, picturing the celebrations with the trophy at the end of the campaign.

'My brain always takes me to the players lifting the Premier League, that's what my brain is doing at the moment,' Arteta told a press conference on Friday. 'I just follow my brain and my gut and this is how I feel, and this is the way that I want everybody to think and hopefully we can achieve it.'
