Ayo Edebiri has a personal "villain origin story" — and it's tied to the 2006 film The Departed. Edebiri appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers on June 17 and revealed that her house was scouted for use in the crime drama, but her father ultimately turned down the opportunity. In her interview, the Boston native, 28, explained that she was 10 years old when director Martin Scorsese, now 81, filmed The Departed in the Massachusetts city.
