Days after Barstool boss Dave Portnoy revealed his shock cancer scare and that he had a cancerous mole removed from his neck, he was back on social media celebrating another massive successful sports bet. This one involved putting down $180,000 on Scottie Scheffler to win the Travelers Championship. At +180 odds, Portnoy pocketed $504,000. Scheffler won the Travelers in a playoff over Tom Kim at 22-under-par on Sunday, continuing his amazing run in 2024.
