Former X Factor star Amelia Lily was forced to pull out of the Sunderland Food and Drink Festival on Saturday after she was urgently rushed to hospital. The singer, 29, shot to fame on the ITV talent show in 2011 and has also starred in MTV's Geordie Shore. Taking to her Instagram stories, she informed followers that she was 'severely unwell' and would be unable to attend the festival. Amelia - who is diabetic - shared a snap of herself in the hospital on a ward hooked up to a drip, and revealed she was 'gutted' to cancel the upcoming scheduled gig in Sunderland.
