Manchester United's Scott McTominay and Liverpool's Andy Robertson both start for Scotland in their Euro 2024 opening match against home nation Germany in Munich. The Reds defender had previously played down injury fears after coming off early during a training session earlier this week, but takes up the armband on Friday evening. Both McTominay and Ryan Christie - also named to the starting side - will earn their 50th caps this evening, but one noted omission from the first XI is Brighton's Billy Gilmour, who has been impressing on international duty.
