President Joe Biden had a hug and kiss for Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni when he saw her at the G7 meeting but he skipped a dinner hosted by the country's President Sergio Matterella. Biden has attended group planning sessions at the gathering of the world's biggest economies but had few one-on-one meetings with his fellow heads of state. The favored few who got individual time with him include Meloni, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Pope Francis.
