The best in storytelling was celebrated on Sunday night, June 9, in Los Angeles. The 84th Peabody Awards kicked off at the Beverly Wilshire, honoring programs that have shed a light on social and political issues in the past year, in addition to favorites like The Bear, Reservation Dogs and Bluey. Kumail Nanjiani hosted the star-studded event, which this year also honored Mel Brooks with the career achievement award and Quinta Brunson with the trailblazer award.
