Southampton have asked about taking Danny Ings from West Ham. The 31-year old had a fruitful spell with Saints between 2019 and 2021 when he scored 46 goals in 100 appearances and they are keen to reunite and bring his Premier League experience back to St Mary's. Manager Russell Martin has already brought back Adam Lallana from Brighton and sees Ings as a proven top flight goalscorer who can help guide what will be a relatively young dressing room.
