A stunning $1.5 million Colorado mansion was destroyed by a raging fire, believed to be sparked by a lightning strike. Firefighters from South Metro Fire Rescue (SMFR) responded to reports of lightning and smoke emanating from the attic of a mansion in The Pinery, Colorado, on Sunday night. It took nearly an hour to contain the blaze. The dramatic moment the fire was ignited was caught on camera. Neighbor Grace Carroll captured footage of the lightning strike, which she and others now believe ignited the blaze.
