Amanda Abbington was spotted looking tearful while being comforted by actress pal Sue Vincent outside swanky spot The Groucho Club in London on Wednesday. The Sherlock star, 50, appeared overcome with emotion after Strictly Come Dancing's Shirley Ballas defended 'true gentleman' Giovanni Pernice this week following his exit from the BBC show. Amanda was paired with the Italian professional during last year's competition only to quit amid accusations of his 'threatening and abusive behaviour' which she said left her suffering from PTSD.
