The new Netflix docuseries Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult, which premiered on May 29, examines the Shekinah Church and 7M Films, both spearheaded by Robert Shinn. Robert and 7M Films came under increased scrutiny in 2022, when dancer Miranda Derrick and her husband, James, became estranged from Miranda's family. Miranda's sister, Melanie Wilking, and their parents released an Instagram Live video claiming that Miranda was in a cult and being deliberately kept from speaking to or seeing them.
