TikTok trend where parents show off their 80s dance moves leaves millennials stunned
It was the era of big hair, fluorescent fashion and Walkmans - but the 1980s is also remembered as one of the golden ages of music. So it's hardly surprising that this generation are being celebrated on TikTok for their enthusiastic dance moves. Over the past few weeks, the hashtag #80sdancechallenge has been used for over 10,000 videos - and amassed millions of views. As part of the viral trend, millennial children play the 1984 hit Smalltown Boy by Bronski Beat and ask their parents to show them how they danced in the 80s.
