Australia have started their Olympic Games campaign in style with the men's rugby sevens team defeating Samoa in Paris. The opening ceremony is not set to take place until Friday, but the men's sevens competition is already under way as John Manenti's side took to the Stade de France for their first Pool B game of the competition. The Aussies were stunned early on by an opening try from the Samoans but hit back with three tries and eventually closed out the game 21-14.
