The disgraced 39-year-old would have been a shoo-in to land the honour had she picked up the one medal she needed to become Britain's most successful female Olympian of all time in Paris. But Whitehall sources have disclosed that any such honour is now off the table after harrowing footage of her repeatedly whipping a horse 'like an elephant in a circus' emerged.
