Sir Geoffrey Boycott has been re-admitted to hospital and is being treated for pneumonia, after having undergone surgery last week. The 83-year-old former England Test cricketer had been diagnosed with throat cancer earlier this month and on Wednesday, had undergone a three-hour surgery to remove the cancer. Boycott was released from hospital 48 hours after the procedure, which had been a 'success'. But on Sunday, his family released a statement on social media confirming that the ex-batsman had suffered a setback in his recovery and was being treated for pneumonia.
