Jordan Chiles became an Olympic gold medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics with the support of her parents, Timothy and Gina Chiles. In an interview with The New York Times in 2021, Gina revealed that Timothy signed Jordan up for gymnastics classes after spending a week alone with the high-energy youngster while his wife was away on business. "My parents could not keep me from cartwheeling down the aisle of any open space or walking on my hands instead of my feet," Jordan explained on the USA Gymnastics website.
