Missouri drivers can jazz up there ride by creating a personalized license plate for as little as $15. However, not every application is approved as these humorous rejections from last year show. More than 8,000 applications for personalized car tags were processed in 2023 and 475 were rejected, according to the the Missouri Department of Revenue. In order to get a personal design approved the requested plate must not violate state obscenity laws.
