Two polar bears have attacked and killed a worker at a remote Canadian radar site. The tragedy took place last Thursday on Brevoort Island, Nunavut. The employee was working for the Nasittuq Corporation, which confirmed the death in statement. The attack claimed the life of the worker, who has not been publicly identified, as well as one of the animals which had to be put down. The incident is the second fatal polar bear attack in the last year.
