Alarming new stat from ICE shows the jaw-dropping number of migrants convicted of murder living in the US
More than 13,000 immigrants who have been convicted of homicide either in the United States or abroad are currently living freely in America, according to ICE. The staggering number was revealed by the agency to Congress earlier this week, as it admitted many of the killers have slipped through the net. The immigrants are classified as 'non-detained' by ICE, meaning they are known to the agency and they have pending immigration cases in America, but they are not behind bars either because they are not prioritized or ICE cannot find them, reports NBC News.
