A Colorado teenager was shot in the face by a town council member after a homeowner reported trespassers, according to a local sheriff's department. The incident was reported to Jefferson County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday afternoon in Conifer, Colorado. According to authorities, a homeowner reported two trespassers on her property and called her boyfriend, 38-year-old Brent Metz, about them. Deputies then arrived to two find two teenage boys, one of whom was bleeding heavily from his face, while the other applied pressure to his wound with a shirt.
