Production on the highly anticipated sixth and final season of The Handmaid's Tale has finally begun. Hulu announced the news on Friday, Sept. 6, with a photo of Elisabeth Moss smiling from ear to ear while holding onto a clapboard. "Guess who's back? Production on the final season has officially started. #TheHandmaidsTale will return Spring 2025," a post shared on Instagram read. The announcement comes two years after the show, based on Margaret Atwood's best-selling 1985 novel of the same name, was renewed for a sixth season ahead of its season 5 premiere.
