A promising soccer player has passed away in Honduras after a battle with dengue. Julio Hernández died Sunday at a hospital in Tegucigalpa, where he was receiving treatment for dengue symptoms. His club, Olancho FC, which plays in the top division Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional de Honduras, confirmed his death in a statement. He was hospitalized last week at Brother Pedro Catacamas Hospital in Catacamas, a town in the department of Olancho, before he was transferred to the medical facility in Tegucigalpa.
