Marlee Matlin is settling into her newest role — grandma! Attending the Media Access Awards in Hollywood, Calif., on Tuesday, Oct. 29, the actress, 59, shared what it's been like as she's transitioned to being a grandma to her daughter Sarah Rose Grandalski's daughter Brooklyn Rose, whom she welcomed in late April. "I love it. The thing I think I love the most is being able to just give her oodles of kisses every day and then just give her back to her mother and not have to worry about everything like when I was a mom," Matlin shares with PEOPLE.
