One person is dead and at least nine others have been injured after gunfire erupted near Tennessee State University in Nashville. The incident occurred on Saturday night at one of the school's homecoming events. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the bullets were fired near the intersection of Jefferson Street and 27th street just after 5 pm. In a statement posted on X.com just after 6:30 pm, they said that 'the scene is secure.
