The View panel has slammed the 'ridiculous and stupid' backlash Nicole Scherzinger has received for commenting on Russell Brand's election post, with the hosts declaring that she shouldn't have apologized. Last week, former Pussycat Dolls singer, 46, was slammed for 'coming out as a Donald Trump supporter' due to her comment on Brand's Instagram, in which she asked where he got his 'Make Jesus First Again' hat. Scherzinger later took her own profile on Friday evening where she apologized for the 'hurt caused'.
