A university doctoral student has taken his own life by jumping off a campus parking garage in front of horrified classmates. The 33-year-old man died on Wednesday morning at the Bauerle Garage at the University of Texas, San Antonio. University president Taylor Eighmy announced his death to staff and students about 11am, saying he was 'deeply saddened' by the 'likely suicide'. 'Our hearts are broken for this student, his family and all who knew and loved him.
