In finding the 26-year-old not guilty in the death of Jordan Neely, the jury has rejected a racialized criminal justice system that sees white people as inherently evil and black people as perpetual victims. But we still have a long way to go. After the verdict was announced on Monday, Neely's father erupted in the Manhattan courtroom and had to be escorted out.
