Cynthia Erivo will be performing in Jesus Christ Superstar. On Tuesday, Feb. 18, it was announced that the Wicked star, 38, will be leading the lineup for the Hollywood Bowl's 2025 production, playing the role of Jesus. According to the Hollywood Bowl website, Jesus Christ Superstar will play from Aug. 1 to Aug. 3. While other cast members will be announced at a later date, the production will be directed and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.
