Rihanna Saves the Day as Smurfette and Teases New Original Music in Smurfs Trailer
The Smurfs are back for a whole new adventure! On Thursday, Feb. 6, Paramount Pictures unveiled the first trailer for the reboot of Smurfs, arriving in theaters this July. The film, directed by Chris Miller and co-director Matt Landon, is led by Rihanna who, along with voicing Smurfette, created new original music for the film and served as a producer. Additional producers include Ryan Harris, Laurence "Jay" Brown and Tyran "Ty-Ty" Smith.
