We could be hairoes! How David Bowie's look remains a cut above the rest
Ziggy Stardust was famously David Bowie's out-of-this-world alter-ego, with a hairdo to match. Now the fictional saviour of rock has been voted as having the most iconic style of all time, according to a new survey. Bowie's spiky red hairdo was voted top of the mops with 19 per cent of the new poll. The style was first unveiled in 1972 to promote the launch of his fifth album Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
