Meghan Markle shared a rare look at Archie in a new video posted to Instagram.
Archie skis with his father, Prince Harry, in the clip, and Meghan made it clear in her caption that her oldest child is just learning the sport.
Harry has a special history with skiing, which he reflected on in his memoir Spare.
After giving fansmultiple generous glimpsesof her daughter,Lilibet, in the last few weeks, Meghan Markle put the spotlight on her 6-year-old son, Archie, yesterday evening. The Duchess of Sussex shared a video of Archie skiing with his father, Prince Harry—a nod to Harry's own childhood, when his late mother, Princess Diana,regularly took him and his older brother, Prince William, on ski trips.
"My boys. Quick learner, Archie! So proud ❤️," Meghan wrote.
Harry reminisced on his childhood ski trips with Diana in his 2023 memoirSpare."For several years I'd talked in all seriousness about working at the ski resort in Lech am Arlberg, [Austria], where Mummy used to take us. Such wonderful memories," he wrote, viaPeople. He added that he even considered being a ski instructor at one point, a possibility his father, King Charles, called "out of the question."

Harry and Meghan will celebrate Archie's seventh birthday on May 6. Last year, Meghan fêted her eldest child's big day with an Instagram tribute. "Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie!" she wrote. "Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He's six! Where did the time go? (And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special ❤️)"
The duchess most recently shared a glimpse of her son last month. He made a sneaky cameo in behind-the-scenes footage of Meghan'sAs Everand High Camp Supply collaboration shoot. "Mama's little helpers 💫 ," she wrote. "BTS of our shoot for @aseverofficial at our home."
While Meghan has occasionally posted pictures of her children, she generally keeps their childhood private.
In November, shespoke toHarper's Bazaarabout this period of Lili and Archie's lives, saying, "I'm a mom with kids at that age where they are constantly learning something new. I watch them face things that feel completely insurmountable every day. But you can remember and say, 'I know it seems really hard right now, but trust me, that's going to come so easily soon.'"
