AN urgent search has been launched for two Scots schoolgirls who have been missing for two days.

Chloe Mackell, 15, and Julia Kujawska, 13, were last seen in different parts of Glasgow on Friday night.

Julia was last seen on North Woodside Road in Maryhill around 9pm on May 3.

While the last sighting of Chloe was three miles away on Windyedge Crescent in Scotstoun around 11.15pm on the same night.

Cops have since launched a search for the pair, who are friends and are believed to be together.

Local officers confirmed concerns are growing for the two teenagers and have urged anyone who may know where they are to get in touch.

Descriptions of the pair have also been issued to help police with their search.

Chloe is is described as white, 5ft4, of slim build with long black hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing black shorts, black trainers and a turquoise puffer jacket.  

Julia is described as white, 5ft3, of slim build with brown hair and a nose piercing.

She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, dark clothing and black Converse.

Sergeant Stuart Torley said: "Chloe and Julia are friends and we believe they are together however concern is growing due to their ages and the fact that they have been missing since Friday night.

"We are appealing for anyone who thinks they may have seen the girls, or who has information regarding their whereabouts, to come forward.

"We would also appeal directly to Chloe and Julia to please get in touch with someone to let us know they are safe and well.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident numbers 4751 and 4599 of Friday, 3 May, 2024."
