A PLASTIC surgeon has weighed in on the vitriolic spat between Megyn Kelly and Erin Moriarty over cosmetic enhancements.
He has claimed one of them has massaged the facts, and that Megyn boasts crooked features from her own extensive nip and tucks.
In January, Megyn, 53, fired off at The Boys actress Erin, 29, and mentioned her changed face on her podcast.
On The Megyn Kelly Show, she claimed that Erin had had plastic surgery.
Megyn showed what she suggested was a recent photo of Erin alongside an older one to compare.
"Erin has decided to completely change her face," Megyn said, describing her nose as a "pencil."
Within days of Megyn's outburst, Erin reacted via a lengthy Instagram post, blasting the mom of three for "exhibitionist feminism."
Erin claimed that the TV host was bullying her, then deleted most of her Instagram posts apart from her note about Megyn.
On Saturday, Erin thanked her fans for their support.
According to one plastic surgeon, Megyn may not want to throw stones given what appears to be her changing face.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Westreich said Megyn's nose had "wonky nostrils," and the cause was a "pretty terrible rhinoplasty."
"In some ways, this could be hypocritical and irrational of Megyn Kelly," Westreich told The U.S. Sun.
"Here is a clear example of someone in a glass house throwing stones.
"Megyn unequivocally and 100% has had a rhinoplasty.
"Compared to Erin's rhinoplasty, Megyn's rhinoplasty is pretty terrible.
"Megyn has crooked nostrils, and they are all wonky.
"Megyn also does Botox and is probably doing a lot of lasers and skin resurfacing.
"She has been doing these treatments to smooth her skin for many years.
"I would not say Megyn has had a lot of fillers.
"It is uncommon for somebody to get Botox and never get a little filler.
"Over the last decade, she has likely spent $100,000 on cosmetic work."
During her SiriusXm program, Megyn spoke with journalist Michael Knowles, insisting that her comments about Erin are not about having a problem with cosmetic work.
"It's not about an objection to plastic surgery," she said.
"It's about an obsession with turning yourself into this fake version of yourself."
The former Fox News presenter said she found Erin's "obsession" like a sign of "mental illness."
Meanwhile, shortly after the public spat, Erin was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Wednesday with her dogs.
Dressed in sweatpants, she was makeup-free and looked natural.
Westreich said Erin's girl-next-door looks proved Megyn's choice of photo on her radio show was not representative.
"Another questionable point was that Megyn felt that what Erin had done to her face was excessive," he said.
"The photo they used of Erin was non-representational because it was highly stylized with contouring makeup.
"It was a little horrifying looking, but the current photos of her out and about are not like this.
"Megyn's photo selection showed a lot of contouring and filters."
Erin became famous after playing Annie January/Starlight on Amazon's The Boys.
She has also appeared in Jessica Jones and Red Widow.
Erin's acting skills have seen her nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for her part in Captain Fantastic.
Westreich agreed that there had been some cosmetic manipulation of her face.
"Erin used to have a bump on the right side of her nose on the off angle that disappeared," he said.
"She probably did a little bit of narrowing at the time.
"Erin has always had pretty full lips.
"It is possible that she has done some cheek filler to augment her cheeks at some point.
"There could be a tiny bit of filler in her lips and maybe even a bit of Botox to her forehead.
"The main work I can see is buccal fat excision."
This is not the first time Megyn has raised eyebrows over her comments about celebrities and plastic surgery.
In 2017, Megyn reportedly made actress Jane Fonda uncomfortable during a live TV interview.
"You admit you've had work done, which I think is to your credit. But you look amazing. I read you said you felt not proud to admit you had work done. Why not?" Megyn asked.
Jane appeared taken aback by the question and brushed it off.
It is also not the first time Megyn has faced backlash for her comments.
Megyn Kelly Today was canceled in 2018 after she defended people who wear blackface costumes for Halloween.
She was forced to apologize.
Westreich said the presenter showed signs of an "exaggerated Botox arch."
"Megyn might not be doing fillers all the time, but it is unusual for somebody in their 50s to look like that.
"There is no obvious filler in her lips, but she could put filler in just to try and maintain volume.
"As you get older, your lip volume tends to shrink.
"Megyn may be put in like a little drop now and then to maintain that volume and where the lips do not get thick.
"Megyn looks to have started the Botox in 2008.
"In 2009, she got some more lines on her forehead.
"It would not be uncommon for somebody not to do Botox when they are pregnant.
"And then, by 2014, her face starts to look smoother.
"By 2019, you can see with the arch with the brows where they are going down centrally.
"Megyn has got that exaggerated Botox arch.
"She does not have the 11s anymore, which are the vertical lines between the eyebrows.
"Overall, Megyn has aged very well."
Westreich suggested the photo Megyn selected of Erin was her "massaging the data."
"It did not take me very long to do an image search on Erin and realize that the image Megyn chose was not how Erin looked.
"It seems Megyn picked an old photo just to make her point.
"This would be as if she massaged her data to prove her point and show her findings.
"At the end of the day, Megyn's point was that Erin's face was so out of balance and that she had completely changed her face,
"It is not out of balance, and she has not completely changed her face.
"The reality is that Megyn's rhinoplasty is out of balance.
"It is Erin who does not look all that different.
"She has also spent much less than Megyn on cosmetic work – likely around $45,000."
