Czechia's Euro 2024 hopes have suffered a blow following an injury to midfielder Michal Sadilek, who has been forced to pull out of the tournament after falling off a bike. The 25-year-old plays his football in the Netherlands with FC Twente and he featured at the last European Championships. Sadilek also captained his nation in a 7-1 win over Malta on Friday. A statement from the Czechia FA on Sunday confirmed that the player would miss the tournament after 'suffering a laceration in his leg' following the fall.
