A TikToker has accused Trader Joe's of deliberately tacking on bag fees despite using her own reusable to carry out her groceries. Callie from California believes the popular supermarket chain regularly carries out the scam in a bid to squeeze a few more pennies from customers. In a minute-long video posted to TikTok, Callie suggests that the bag fees, which are the very final item to appear on her receipt, is a deliberate money-grabbing ploy by Trader Joe's to sneak cash from their customers.
